Though we're all about seeing the world at every given moment, sadly, we know that there are times when jetting off to an undisclosed location is simply not an option. So if you find yourself taking advantage of your very own city this year, you've come to the right place! Because with Rebekah's help, we've got a day chock full of fun activities that you can do to make your staycation a memorable one. Captured by Kirsten Julia Photography there's more from this fun-filled shoot in the gallery!

From Rebekah... I recently designed and styled this shoot to show how much fun you can have if you're "stay-cationing." I found a beautiful park in our neighborhood and set-up a day for two friends complete with picnic, lawn bowling, drinks, and croquet.

Vacations to tropical destinations, or historic European cobblestoned streets are incredible, they're experiences everyone should have. But, if you find yourself "staycationing" this year, there really are amazing experiences to have that are quintessentially associated with vacation. Picnics in a park, lawn-bowing, toasting how fabulous you both are beneath a beautiful tree and laughing uproariously while you whack croquet balls around!

I took some of my favorite Pottery Barn pieces to style this fun shoot that embodies everything I love about vacations: fun in the sun, colorful attire, laughing with friends, good food and new experiences. We hope this shoot inspires you to look no further than your best friend and a park to have all the fun a vacation offers with none of the stress of travel!

And if you're on the hunt for some picnic ideas, you'd better believe we've got you covered:
-Our Kate Spade inspired picnic is chock full of fun cheat-cuts (we won't tell)
-A simple cocktail that will pair perfectly with the great outdoors
-Summer bruschetta: easy to pack, and can be assembled on site
-And finish it off with a french cherry clafoutis!
