Spray sidewalk chalk!? Yep! SPRAY Sidewalk Chalk! For that painterly, arteeest effect that every chalk party needs. Plus they are just kind of cute and look like you're a really smart hostestess with the mostess. These need to be blended and used the day of your party otherwise they settle and become a bit hard to use.

Clear spray bottles (we got ours at Stop & Shop)
Homemade spray chalk labels (download them here)
Avery 2"x4" label paper

In a large liquid measuring cup, mix 1/2 cup water, 1/2 cup cornstarch, and a spoonfull of powdered tempura paint (you can add more or less depending on your desired color). Stir thoroughly. You may need to mix with your fingers to squeeze any clumps out.

step-2Pour mixture into the spray bottle and screw the cap on. Shake thoroughly.

step-3Download & print the spray chalk label onto label paper. You can place each label onto the bottle as is, or use scissors to trim the labels a little smaller like we did.*tip: The cornstarch tends to clump up over time, so don't make the spray any sooner than the morning of the day you intend to use it!
