I've mentioned before that I work with some of the most wildly talented ladies in the world - there's just no denying it. I consistently find myself soaked in a flow of inspiration of the very best kind and I count my lucky stars each and every day to be a part of it. When my fellow coworker, Melissa (who also blogs over at Yours Truly) sent along this recipe I literally leaped out of my seat. Cheese? Jam? Bread? BASIL?! It really doesn't get much better than that. And knowing full well where it came from, I feel more than confident that it's a winner. Ps - this little guy gets serious bonus points for visual appeal (and in only three easy steps)... Melissa's Burrata Crostini with Jam, Honey + Basil!
ingredients

1 Baguette
2 tablespoons extra-virgin olive oil
8 ounces fresh Burrata cheese
Jam flavor of your choice (I used homemade strawberry jam using Salem farmer's market strawberries)
Honey for drizzling
Basil leaves

directions

1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Cut baguette into 1/2-inch-thick slices, toss with olive oil and place on a rimmed baking sheet. Bake until crostini are lightly toasted, about 10-15 minutes, flipping halfway through.

2. Divide torn Burrata cheese among the crostinis.

3. Layer with a teaspoon of jam, drizzle with honey + top with a basil leaf.
