Brie is one of those cheeses on the platter that I always head for first. And to be honest, I wouldn't feel guilty hoarding the whole wedge for myself. So when I come across any recipe that involves this soft, melt-in-your-mouth goodness, I'm game. Toss in that we adapted this recipe from miss Joy the Baker herself? It's destined to be heavenly!

1 box frozen puff pastry Dalmatia Orange Fig Spread (or any other flavor you’d like!)
1 wedge of brie (about 4oz) 1 large egg
Sea salt Wooden skewers
Preheat the oven to 375 degrees F. Let the puff pastry thaw until it is no longer frozen but still cold. Cut the puff into rough 3”x3” squares.
Slice the brie into small chunks. Put a chunk of brie and a dab of fig spread in the center of the pastry square. Insert a wooden skewer upright in the brie. Fold the corners of the brie up to the center, tucking them into each other around the skewer. Place on a baking sheet with tinfoil.
Beat the egg in a small bowl with a splash of water. Brush the egg wash on the pastry, and sprinkle with sea salt. Bake for 20 minutes or until golden brown. Remove from the oven, let cool slightly, and serve warm.
