Abby and Matthew wanted a classic, elegant, summer garden theme that wonderfully matched the venue they chose, Meridian House in DC. They accentuated the architecture of the historic house and focused on the timeless formality of decor. The overall vibe was classic, elegant, and fun! Guests came in gorgeous, colorful, and vibrant formal attire, and you truly felt like you were in a aVictoriann English garden party!

[field title=”Food & Drink”]

Abby and Matthew’s love of travel and various foods was a big focus of their wedding. Cocktail hour was served with delicious hor d’oeuvres, cocktails, and conversations with their guests. They shared their signature cocktails and deluxe beverages. Abby’s choice was a Dirty Martini and Matthew’s an Old Fashioned. Dinner was served over a three-course meal made by the talented team from RSVP Catering. Later, they shared laughs over cutting their cream-filled cake, also made by RSVP Catering. Later, the couple popped open a bottle of champagne and listened to tearful toasts by their closest friends and family.

[field title=”Florals & Decor”]Our goal was to create a garden-inspired, whimsical yet refined floral experience that felt organic, romantic, and timeless. We worked within a pastel palette of soft blush, cream, light peach, and airy touches of light blue. The designs featured light, airy textures and natural movement—reflecting the effortless beauty of an English countryside garden with a slightly elevated touch for a formal celebration at Meridian House.[/field]

[field title=”Wedding Cake”]

Abby and Matthew’s stunning and simplistic, cream-filled cake was made by their catering team and was shared as guests were enjoying a fun open dance floor!
