Italian Renaissance with a touch of opulence. A luxury setting celebrated with the closest friends. It was inspired by a palace wedding which was reflected in St Regis ballroom.

[field title=”Proposal Story”]A 6 years long distance relationship between UK and Malaysia prior to the proposal.

I travelled back to Malaysia in December 2021, as it was covid season, attended a full week of quarantine in a hotel. Upon my release, it was date night and I proposed to Stephanie in a fine dining restaurant, EQ Kuala Lumpur. The restaurant was overlooking the Petronas Twin Towers and is significant as both of us are from Malaysia.

Menu from St Regis (Risotto with Saffron & Black truffle pelage ; Burrata Tortelli, cherry tomatoes and basil oil ; Grilled fillet of beef, truffle scented potatoes and sauteed mushrooms, beef jus, and a fish option; Strawberry salad, mascarpone mousse and raspberry sorbet), Open bar for our guests. [/field]

[field title=”Florals & Decor”]All flowers & decorations prepared by our florist, Mainardi Fiori. The theme for the day was Ivory, dusty pink in its warm shades, earthy colours in their shades and a touch of greenery.

Ceremony and Apertif: Mixed seasonal flowers, pale pink, earth and warm colour palette with a touch of greenery.

Dinner: Red roses with gold and glass elements, mise en place by St Regis, Red and white Calia lilies bouquet for the bride and bridesmaids, buttonholes for groom and groomsmen also made by Calia lilies.

During our travels, we fell in love with Italy, hence we picked Italy as our destination wedding location. It was a dream! Friends and family travelled from all over the world, and I am glad we got to celebrate the special day with them.

[field title=”Special Detail #2″]Both Cavan & Stephanie’s wedding attire were custom made in Thailand to reflect Stephanie’s half Thai heritage. Her mum is from Thailand and is also Cavan’s dad favourite country in Asia. [/field]
