An Enchanted Garden Wedding Inspired by the Island of Capri!

[section title=”The Planning”]

[field title=”Wedding Colors”]Eva Clark curated a playful color story that included many shades of green, orchid, lilac, coral, pink, fuchsia and yellow.

[field title=”Design / Vibe / Vision”]The vibe of the aesthetic was garden-like, layered, whimsical, romantic and enchanted.

We infused vibrant colors and incorporated natural design elements from the mountains as well as from the Amalfi Coast where the couple honeymooned.

[field title=”Proposal Story”]Ann Trammel says;

In April 2022, we went on a golf cart cocktail cruise in Mountaintop Golf Club while visiting my parents. Both of our parents were there that weekend because it was Easter (didn’t think anything of it because they came the year before for Easter).

We were driving on the 18th whole and earlier that day they had been hitting golf balls on that hole (the course wasn’t open for the season yet). He knelt down to put the ball down on the green and the next thing I knew he was on one knee looking at me with a ring in his hand. I was gobsmacked! The setting and timing was very fitting especially since our wedding, one year later, looked out over the 18th hole.[/field]

[field title=”Wedding Gown”]Ann Trammel wore the Carolina Herrera Bridal “Sloan” gown. Following dinner she changed into a minidress, also by Carolina Herrera. Here magenta cowgirl boots with the minidress were the perfect pop of pink.[/field]

[field title=”Bridesmaid Dresses”]The bridesmaids wore an assortment of ready-to-wear dresses selected by the bride. They were all sourced from her very own clothing shop in Chattanooga, Tennessee. [/field]

Dried Cherry and Fresh Apricot Salad- arugula, goat cheese, hazelnut, fennel with a vanilla espresso vinaigrette

Sides

Seasoned Buttered Tricolor Cauliflower

Grilled Broccolini

Hearth Roasted herbed New Potato

Entrée’s

Pan Seared Gulf Coast Grouper- Beurre Blanc

[field title=”Florals & Decor”]With the bride’s fashion sense and love of color in mind, we chose a very vibrant color story with pops of yellow, corals and pinks along with softer touches of orchid and lilac.

A few weeks before the wedding, the planner/designer found some neon yellow ceremony chairs that had just been released by a company in Atlanta. Eva suggested that they be used in place of the white chiavari ones that had been ordered. They were a huge hit!! Guests were also mesmerized by the customized bar and dance floor which was a watercolor design used on the wedding invitations.

We carried through warm green tones for the tablecloths. This provided a natural backdrop for the colorful flowers to show off. Half of the tables had patterned tablecloths while the others were solid green. Moss was used as part of the centerpieces as a nod to the live moss that is common in the mountains.

With their Capri, Italy honeymoon in mind, fresh lemons were used as place card holders and were also used in abundance on the cake cart and guest book cart. Lemons made their way onto the signature cocktail menu as well.[/field]

[field title=”Wedding Cake”]The wedding cake was part Lemon cake and part strawberry cake with vanilla buttercream icing. We embraced a simple design for the cake so that the flowers could be the showstopper.[/field]

[field title=”Special Detail #1″]The couple’s black lab, Tiki, was the perfectly behaved (off-leash) flower girl and even broke out of the bride’s family home later that night to make an appearance on the dance floor![/field]

[field title=”Special Detail #2″]The guest book was a colorful “Capri” art book by Assouline. The couple honeymooned in Capri and knew they’d love reading the messages from their loved ones in this book for years to come.[/field]
