[field title=”Wedding Colors”]The color palette for Amelie and Pontus’ wedding was inspired by the rich hues of the fall season, with warm tones of burgundy, deep greens, and muted neutrals dominating the décor. During the ceremony, the couple opted for a classic look with more white and natural colors before transitioning to rich and warm autumn hues for the reception. The floral arrangements featured a mix of locally grown flowers and foliage arranged in loose, organic shapes that perfectly captured the season’s natural beauty.
The overall design of the wedding was modern and timeless, focusing on creating a warm and inviting atmosphere for guests. The reception was held in a rustic barn, transformed into an elegant and cozy space using candles, fairy lights, and soft draping. The attention to detail was evident in every aspect of the celebration, from the carefully curated menu to the beautiful stationery and signage.
Amelie and Pontus’ unique style and love story were perfectly reflected in the aesthetic of their wedding, creating a truly unforgettable celebration for all who attended. The overall effect was a wedding that felt both intimate and grand, perfectly communicating the essence of their love.

Chef Daniel Müllern, local to the venue, is one of Sweden’s award-winning chefs. He has been by the stove since he was 16, and his big heart is passionate about cooking. He has competed extensively in Chef of the Year, with finals in 2015 and 2016. Swedish TV viewers discovered him in Kanal 5 Köksmästarna, which Daniel won in 2014, and in 2016 he was narrowly edged out of TV4’s Kockarnas Kamp as one of the favorites. But the love of the ingredients and his remarkable presence in the kitchen is Daniel’s passion, and that showed in the menu he created for Amelie and Pontus’ reception dinner.

Kullafloristen was truly a match made in floral heaven for Amelie and Pontus’ fall wedding We knew the flowers had to be an integral part of the wedding design, but it was equally important that they felt natural and harmonized with the surroundings. Kullafloristen perfectly captured this vision, creating floral arrangements that looked as though they were growing right out of the landscape. The couple’s trust in the team’s vision was evident when they gave us free rein on how to reuse the ceremony flowers for the reception. It was a dream come true for Kullafloristen, who worked magic to create the stunning floral portal that wow-ed guests as they entered the dinner reception. It was the perfect example of how to repurpose flowers creatively and sustainably while adding an unexpected element of surprise and beauty.

As the couple exchanged vows, a string quartet filled the air with live music, setting the romantic and intimate tone of the ceremony. Amelie’s brother played guitar, and a dear friend sang beautifully, making the moment more personal and memorable. Guests were moved to tears by the beauty and sincerity of the ceremony, and many later commented that it was the most beautiful and heartfelt wedding they had ever experienced. The magical combination of live music, the natural beauty of the surroundings, and the deep love between Amelie and Pontus made for a truly unforgettable wedding ceremony.

On the day of Amelie and Pontus’ wedding, as their guests were transferred from their hotel in Malmö, raindrops pelted against the windows, causing a few nerves to set in. However, to everyone’s delight, despite the looming dark clouds overhead, the rain miraculously held off during the ceremony, creating an enchanting and truly magical experience. The tree that stood as the centerpiece of the wedding was not only a breathtaking sight to behold but also holds significant meaning for the couple. It appeared on everything from the invitations to the ceremony programs and was a powerful symbol of the love shared between them. As if that wasn’t enough, the tree also played a protective role during the ceremony, potentially keeping the couple and their guests dry if the rain had decided to pour down. Seeing how something as simple as a tree could bring so much joy and beauty to such a special day was heartwarming.

The stationery for Amelie and Pontus’ wedding was carefully chosen to reflect their unique style and love story. That’s why we turned to Norrbacka Tryckeri, one of the few places in Sweden still using traditional letterpress printing, to create the perfect design and print for their wedding invitations and other paper goods. Norrbacka’s commitment to traditional book printing methods and their attention to detail was the perfect fit for this wedding, where every element was carefully curated. We searched for the perfect tree symbol for the stationery for weeks. Norrbacka Tryckerier eventually found it in a vintage flower book, adding authenticity to the design. The color palette for the invitations was also carefully selected, with a deep green hue that perfectly captured the essence of the fall season.
