[field title=”Design / Vibe / Vision”]Most important thing we wanted for our wedding was for our guests to feel like they’re a part of the night and that they have a ton of fun. From handwritten notes in seating cards to inviting them to write in our guestbook featuring moments in our relationship, it’s to showcase how much we love them and how important they are to us.

Intimate and magical would be the two adjectives I wanted guests to walk away from, to feel like they were taken away on this beautiful Napa location to celebrate under the canopy of floral arrangements and lighted candles and feeling like they are a part of this magical journey and celebration.[/field]

[field title=”Proposal Story”]We were going out to dinner to this restaurant – Giulia that we’ve gone to occasionally. We had a pleasant dinner and stopped by ice cream. When we finally went home and parked, I looked up and saw our deck was fully decorated with lights and candles, to which I asked Alec whether we went down the wrong driveway. Turns out, he’s been spending weeks in the basement cutting wood and getting all the material ready for our friend to execute his vision in the 3 hour timespan we went for dinner. He even stopped for gas when it was 3/4 full and I had no idea! He planned meticulously and hired a photographer to capture the special moment and after the proposal, we spent the rest of the night sitting on the deck under the night sky savoring the moment.[/field]

[field title=”Florals & Decor”]Walking down the aisle with white rose petals along the aisle

[field title=”Readings, Ceremony Music, Reception Songs”]We really wanted a live band to bring the energy and party for the night, delivering songs that guests can jam to

Alec was also a big 2000’s hip-hop band so Gold Standard was able to also DJ periodically to make sure everyone knew this is Alec’s wedding and these songs all heavily influenced him in his growth journey [/field]

[field title=”Special Detail #1″]Favorite moments from wedding day looking back:

The moment our wedding planner showed us the space set up for dinner was magical. It was exactly what we had described and thought in our head but to see in flawlessly executed was such a coming together moment for Alec and I.

Beyond that, we also really treasured having our best friend marrying us and spending little moments here and there taking pictures and eating lunch throughout the day since we spread our events out. Looking back, being able to catch a breath and sharing little moments between Alec and I in private throughout the day allowed us to recharge and make each moment with our guest even more magical.[/field]
