[field title=”Design / Vibe / Vision”]Leah’s initial vision was centered around whimsical and colorful butterfly chargers combined with colorful florals for an overall English garden aesthetic. Their chuppah was adorned with gorgeous colorful flowers and both of Leah and Drew’s Rabbi’s married them together, making the ceremony deeply personal and special. The overall aesthetic was a mix of color and eclectic decor with a touch of romance and whimsy. Leah’s vision was executed perfectly and it was a dream day in every way![/field]
[field title=”Proposal Story”]Drew took Leah to the Ritz at Lake Oconee outside of Atlanta as a get away for her birthday. Before dinner on the second night, he told her they were being taken on a tour of the property. As they walked to a golf cart for their “tour”, she quickly realized there was something going on when their tour guide wasn’t telling them anything about the property. Next thing she knows, they were stopping at a bridge covered in rose petals, where Drew walked her to the top of the bridge, got down on one knee and said he all of a sudden couldn’t remember what he wanted to say, but he loves her and wants to spend the rest of his life with her! And the rest is history.[/field]

[field title=”Wedding Gown”]When Leah started researching wedding dresses online, she immediately knew she wanted to incorporate a unique floral element with texture in her dress. She didn’t know if that was in the fabric or in appliqué, but she knew she wanted it to be a spin on a classic to coordinate with their country club venue. When she started to try on dresses, she was immediately drawn to an A-line silhouette with traditional silk fabric. She tried on dresses from Lela Rose, Markarian, and Oscar De La Renta, where she ultimately found elements of each that she loved, but nothing was the one. She had heard great things about Britt Wood at BW Designs Inc. making beautiful custom gowns, so when she couldn’t find her dress, they had a design meeting together. They immediately clicked, and Britt understood her vision of loving a vintage elegant feel, classic A-line cut, with floral appliqué. Britt ultimately sourced vintage silk ribbon flowers and they decided on a scalloped open back for added drama.[/field]
[field title=”Bridesmaid Dresses”]Leah’s bridesmaids wore all different shades of blue floral dresses. She wanted it to feel organic and mismatched, so to give them guidance she put together a presentation of dresses she loved to give guidance in having blue as the base, but to incorporate a multitude of colors in the floral patterns. She ended up curating most of the dresses each bridesmaid selected, which ended up being one of Leah’s favorite parts of the planning process! [/field]
[field title=”Groomsman Attire”]Drew wore a custom navy suit from a tailor in Atlanta, The TBCo.[/field]

[section title=”The Details”]
[field title=”Food & Drink”]The reception started with a cocktail hour, where guests were greeted with the bride and groom’s favorite cocktail, an espresso martini. Westwood Country Club served all of Leah and Drew’s favorite apps – sushi, pigs in a blanket, shrimp cocktail, and mini lobster rolls. During cocktail hour the string musicians played modern music, similar to what you hear in the Bridgerton soundtrack. After cocktail hour, guests made their way to their tented reception and enjoyed their selection of caesar salad & caprese salads to start, paired with a country club classic & fan favorite, Westwood Cheesy Bagels. For entrees, guests had a selection of sea bass or beef tenderloin and a marble cake with chocolate frosting for dessert. After dinner the guests went into a separate dancing tent where the band, Fat Pocket, played upbeat music mixing oldies with modern music. They had a shot bar accompanied with a shotski to keep the energy and drinks flowing. Leah and Drew wanted their reception to be a lively party with a lot of dancing, and their guests did not dissapoint![/field]
[field title=”Florals & Decor”]English garden party with fluttering butterflies all around! Florals included dahlias, sweet peas, garden roses, hydrangeas, stock, chamomile, and more! [/field]
[field title=”Wedding Cake”]Sarah’s Cake Shop created a delicious marble cake with chocolate frosting, designed with delicate florals all around as a nod to Leah’s love for the gardens.

[field title=”Readings, Ceremony Music, Reception Songs”]While Leah and Drew had a guest list of over 200 people, they wanted the ceremony to feel as intimate as possible. It started with just family walking down the aisle, with Leah’s niece and nephew as their flower girl and boy. The ceremony incorporated both Leah and Drew’s childhood Rabbi’s, which made it extremely personal and unique to them. They felt extreme love from everyone in attendance! Prior to the ceremony they had a small ketubah ceremony with their parents and their two close friends who were their witnesses. It was an amazing moment where Leah and Drew were able to read words they selected of their commitment to each other in an intimate setting.[/field]
[field title=”Special Detail #1″]Leah has always had an extreme love of flowers. She knew she wanted to incorporate flowers as much as we could, with additional garden details such as butterflies, scattered throughout. Knapp Design Co. custom created a gorgeous seating display with butterflies and flora fluttering about, for guests to find their seats. [/field]
[field title=”Special Detail #2″]”It is so hard to pick a favorite moment! We truly had the best night of our lives. If we had to pin it down it was probably the Hora or getting on stage to dance with the band and my family.”[/field]
