For the vision and vibe, Lauren and Blake knew they wanted their wedding to be timeless, romantic, and dreamy. Inspired by vintage style from the 1930s and 1940s, their wedding channeled the romantic and glamorous feel with velvet linens, vintage furniture, and lots of flowing champagne!

[field title=”Proposal Story”]

Blake proposed to Lauren on Christmas morning. He threw her off the scent first by staging a perfect engagement dinner on Christmas Eve but didn’t pop the question that evening. Instead, he woke her up the next day with a huge surprise: a ring!

Lauren was dazzling in her ivory wedding gown with spaghetti straps, a V neckline, and a flowing train. She complemented the dress with classic pearl jewelry and a sheer ivory veil.

Lauren invited ten of her closest girlfriends to be her bridesmaids on her wedding day. They each wore a different colored bridesmaids dress that corresponded with the couple’s wedding colors, from blush to dusty blue to peach. Each bridesmaid got to select their dress style, allowing them to showcase their individual personality!

Blake and his groomsmen donned classic black tuxedoes with black bow ties. Blake stood out from the crowd, though by adding a vintage top hat and black cane to his look!

[field title=”Food & Drink”]

Lauren and Blake love Mediterranean, Italian and French food, and we drew inspiration from their personal tastes for their wedding menu. Guests enjoyed wild mushroom & chèvre vol au vents, panzanella, and tomato mozzarella skewers during cocktail hour, provided by Pascal’s Catering. They then indulged in a beautiful plated meal of either chicken picatta, braised beef short ribs, or vegan grilled asparagus penne pasta. The bar menu featured passed Champs de Violette in vintage coupes and a separate bourbon bar for tastings. During the meal, Lauren and Blake offered a wine selection of Domaine des Cotes Blanches Sancerre Blanc, Tiberio Cerasuolo D’Abruzzo Rose and Illuminati llico Montepulcian d’Abruzzo.

[field title=”Florals & Decor”]

This wedding featured charming florals in shades of peach and dusty hues accented with natural greenery. From the blush and ivory floral sprays on the open-frame ceremony chuppah to the reception arrangements that dotted the kings’ tables, Lauren and Blake’s florals and decor were inspired by vintage charm with contemporary updates. Nods to contemporary style can also be seen in the cascade of flowers on the venue’s historic fountain, the rounded wooden chairs, and ikebana-inspired floral.

[field title=”Wedding Cake”]

Lauren & Blake had a 5-tiered wedding cake! Emily Lee pressed multi-colored petals into the white exterior and rimmed the bottom tier with tiny pastel buds. Peach ranunculus sat on the top tier alongside a bride and groom cake topper. The groom’s cake was a naked cake, dusted with confectioner’s sugar, green leaves, and white florals.

In the ceremony processional, Blake, the couple’s parents and the wedding party walked down the aisle to “Blue Bayou” by Roy Orbison, played on the strings by Terra Vista Strings. Lauren then entered with her father to the tune of “Crimson and Clover.” After the couple tied the knot, they shared their first dance to the musical stylings of The Shooks Band, who played their rendition of “Disco” by Surf Curse.
