From Embark Event Design… Nicole and Nolan’s late summer wedding set in the vineyards on the Coast of California was anything but rustic – dreamy stationery, romantic florals, intentional details, a refined palate, and many nods to the sweetest pup will have everyone falling in love. Nicole and Nolan met at Loyola Marymount University, where they lived just down the street from each other and often crossed paths.
As we later learned from Nicole’s maid of honor (MOH speeches always give us the real story – right?), Nicole and her girlfriends were all on a mission to date the cute fraternity boys down the street. We even learned that Nicole’s sweet mom quite literally picked out Nolan from a lineup while looking at the fraternity composite laying around the sorority house, exclaiming “Nicole – date him!”
When the two finally met and began to spend time together, it was clear that their connection and commitment to each other far exceeded any “puppy love.” Nicole and Nolan were inseparable early on and worked hard to keep their relationship and their families at the center of their live’s all throughout their college and eventually post-grad adventures. A defining moment for the two came when Nicole first met Nolan’s dad, who was sick at the time and soon after passed away. Nolan was in love with how quickly Nicole became a part of his family and dove head first with love and compassion.
From the designer, Sarah… Dreaming up Nicole & Nolan’s wedding weekend was such a joy! Soft & happy color tones paired with subtle textures made for a romantic and sweet design. I especially loved Nicole & Nolan’s attention to detail in creating an amazing guest experience – from the food & wine pairings down to the epic end of night dance party surrounded by all of their loved ones.
