This Couple’s Museum of Natural History Wedding Was Complete with Ring Pops and Dinosaurs

Ready for a roaring good time? Christie and Brian got married at the Fernbank Natural History Museum amongst real dinosaur fossils! Brianne McMullan Events planned the modern romantic day, filled with centerpieces inside acrylic boxes that looked like they could’ve been an exhibit at the museum themselves! Lindsay Coletta brightened the space with bright pops of beautiful flowers, and Laura Watson artfully captured every magical moment.  Fall in love with every chic second inside the full gallery.

From Laura WatsonChristie and Brian strayed from traditional southern clichés and played into the modern lines and motifs of Fernbank Natural History Museum in Atlanta throughout their wedding design – from their paper to their florals. Their design showcased the romantic colors of the season, but the pair leaned into the museum aesthetic by placing their centerpieces in delicate acrylic boxes as if on display in a gallery.

They also added sparks of their personality throughout. When Brian proposed, he initially used a ring pop, so they made sure their guests could take part in the romance at their reception with a basket full of Ring Pops at the ready.

Christie chose her brother as her “Man of Honor,” and he fashionably rocked the title in a burgundy suit. And if you’re getting married in a dinosaur museum, you must have dinosaurs at the reception, right?
