Can we get a round of applause for our bride’s mom?! Throughout Amy’s entire life her mom’s handmade dresses have been an important part of every milestone, so it’s only fitting that Mom made the wedding and bridesmaid dresses for her Big Day. This heartfelt day designed by Unveiled by Grace is filled with love and special details, all inspired by natural oak and sage green. From Meiwen Wang… This was a beautiful Temecula wedding with Sean & Amy, with their dog Lincoln as one of the honorary groomsmen. My favorite aspect was that the bride’s mom made her wedding dress, along with all the other bridesmaid dresses.

From Amy, the bride… Since childhood, my mom’s dresses have played a part in all the important milestones in my life. Despite being born with a paralyzed hand, she pursued her passion and honed her craft as a seamstress, creating beautiful outfits for others in order to provide a living for her family. Although she often made clothes for others, she paid special attention to making outfits for me. This is evident from the dresses she has created for me throughout my life: everything from my baptism dress, to my prom dress, and even dresses I wore to job interviews. I always knew when the time came that she and I would make my wedding dress together. A few memories from the day…

1. All of Sean’s groomsmen were given a chance to speak and reflect different memories from different times in his life. One highlighted the uniqueness of Sean’s laugh, which sounds like a seal. Others called attention to the fact that Sean is always the loudest in the room, but that he shows his love through his actions. Amy’s bridesmaids’ speeches brought tears to the guests because they captured the raw emotion of their relationships with Amy and how much Amy was a part of their lives.

2. There were many memorable moments throughout our wedding day, but I was overwhelmed with emotion the moment I first put on my wedding dress with my mom watching. This was the most important dress my mom would ever make for me and the culmination of a childhood dream turned into reality

3. We all got ready with our bridal party and friends at the Airbnb. The morning of our wedding day was surprisingly very joyous and tranquil. The groomsmen were cooking breakfast for everyone, while the girls got ready in the master bedroom suite. It was so special to be able to hang out with our friends who we had not seen in a very long time. The house was filled with endless laughter and we felt so loved.

From the Unveiled by Grace… Inspired by the oak of winery and the soft sage greens at a tucked away venue within the sprawling foothills of Southern California’s resplendent wine country. A combination of soft neutral tones like white, sage, green, light grey, and gold create our base palette. The accent shades that bring those neutrals to life is the nature surrounding woods. Gold is used as a complementary color to add depth. Soft and airy florals accompanied by green leaves and seasonal elements blend seamlessly with rich velvet linens and lounge furniture. Warm candlelight ties the various elements together while creating an elevated rustic ambiance full of romance. Manicured lawn and tree-lined reception area along with string lights sets out to recreate the serenity and beauty of a wine venue. Finally, the venue’s light and natural wood interior act as the ideal backdrop. All design elements, from color to texture, come together to create a subtle and sophisticated aura that honors the couple’s love and marriage celebration.
