Intimate Colorado Wedding Hosted On Two Mountaintops

Aside from the incredibly epic mountain views, the tender moments at this wedding might be even better.  Held at not one but two mountaintops, Poppati Events planned a ceremony that took place at the top of  Vail Mountain and then transported guests to the peak of Beaver Creek Mountain for the reception.  Blooms by Rose Petals Vail in pretty pinks and purples make the day even more beautiful.  Every image by Cat Galletti Photography is more stunning than the last, you can see them all inside the full gallery.

From Cat Galletti Photography… Georgia and Shane’s Colorado wedding was a result of multiple COVID postponements. What originally was going to be a 300+ ballroom wedding in Minnesota developed into an intimate mountaintop celebration with 35 of their closest family and friends. Amidst the stress of ongoing changes in regulations, Georgia and Shane reevaluated their priorities and decided a wedding in Colorado would be a better fit for their love story. Given both of their families have ties to the beautiful mountainous state, it was the perfect destination to begin their marriage.

My dream goal for Georgia and Shane was to plan a wedding that was uniquely theirs, to give them and their guests a one of a kind, unforgettable wedding experience. Georgia and her family have vacationed to Beaver Creek for years experiencing numerous fond memories. It was a very meaningful destination to Georgia and she wanted their wedding guests to experience it as well. Many of their guests hadn’t been to Vail or Beaver Creek. I thought it would create a remarkable wedding day if we hosted their wedding celebrations on 2 mountain tops, the ceremony on top of Vail Mountain and the cocktail hour and reception on top of Beaver Creek Mountain. This was the first time this had ever been done and I loved that we were able to create this unique experience for Georgia, Shane, and their wedding guests.

Guests were dropped off at the base of Vail Village, where they were escorted through a short beautiful stroll of the town and were guided onto the Gondola that would take them up to the breathtaking mountaintop ceremony. Surrounded by loved ones and the breathtaking mountains is where Georgia and Shane exchanged their I Dos. Following the ceremony, guests were then driven from Vail Mountain to the top of Beaver Creek Mountain to the iconic Beano’s Cabin, where the cocktail hour and reception took place.
