An Abundant And Sweet Midsummer Wedding In Sacramento

Understated elegance and modern romance combine for a California wedding that is certainly a midsummer night’s dream. Manna Sun Events used a  soft color palette of blush, pink, sage, and ivory to bring this couple’s love story to life in the most magical of ways. This big day is filled with special touches at every turn like a mobile bar, clear seating chart boxes filled with fresh flowers, and an arched donut display! Awaiting The Name Floral & Design brought a bright and natural approach to their incredible floral designs filling every vignette with fun.  We are hopelessly in love with every beautiful image captured by STELLA YANG PHOTOGRAPHY, you can take a closer look at all the lovely in the full gallery.

From Manna Sun EventsIt took Tiffany and Trung almost two years to finally tie the knot. Because of the pandemic, their wedding was postponed and rescheduled to last August. This sweet and lovely wedding in Sacramento was strong proof that all the wonderful things in love would be worth the wait. Every detail of the wedding turned out just as planned and won our hearts instantly. The couple envisioned their wedding to be an elegant and romantic celebration of love, with a hint of rustic style. There were more than 160 guests came and celebrated with the couple. Scheduled in mid-August, their wedding was filled with summer flowers. To help them bring their dream wedding to life, our goal is to design a wedding that is understated by elevated. We started with a soft color palette with blush, soft pink, sage, and ivory, along with pops of dusty blue and gold that were very dreamy and romantic. It has the abundance of the summer, and at the same time, it was so gentle that the guests wouldn’t feel overwhelmed or overheated at the wedding (it was over 100 degrees on the wedding day). The ceremony was set at the pavilion which is the center of the Unity Garden. It was adorned with themed color flowers in mostly blush and ivory drapery.

The arch at the entrance of the ceremony was also decorated with themed flowers, and with the blooms on both sides of the aisle, they perfectly blended in the scene as if they were there in the first place. As Tiffany walked down the aisle through the arch, it was like she was entering the temple of love. Tiffany had a bridal party of nine, and we suggested that they could dress in mix and match styles and shades. Their bouquets were also in themed colors but used different flowers. Wooden furniture was used in the lounge area, with metal tables and chairs in the cocktail hour, so when the guests were enjoying the cocktail hour, they could hang out comfortably in this rustic yet modern area. We used both long and round tables to bring more dynamics to a reception of this size. Blush was the main theme among the tables.

With the pop of gold and orange among the lavish blush floral arrangements, it captured the rich and opulent character of the summer. The hexagon terraria frames were used as part of the centerpieces of the round tables. With this touch of design, it totally changed the table from a typical, romantic banquet table to a chic and modern one. We love to see the magic like this, when we put a small object in the design that makes a big statement. The clear seating chart boxes with fresh flower arrangements in them were written by the bride’s sister. It was such a beautiful and unique representation of the abundant joy of the wedding. It also showed love from the family members. To celebrate their sweet love, the couple prepared various kinds of desserts for all the guests. Donuts, macarons, cakes, cookies, and gummy candies… they were either placed on the balustrade end table or on two dessert walls. On top of the wall, saying “All the good things in life are sweet.”
