They say rain on your wedding day is good luck, and for Melissa and Steve it was certainly the case! After showers on their first date, bridal shower, and at the courthouse, the bride sweetly said that the rain was their family who was no longer with them, showering the couple with love! The twosome turned to none other than Taylor Falcon Events to bring their Big Day dreams to life, and Flower Child Florist to design the most incredible florals in soft, romantic shades. From Everence Photography… Melissa and Steven had what most couples fear the most in the days leading up to their wedding – a 100% chance of rain for their entire all outdoor wedding day. The pouring down, thunder and lightning kind of rain. But that didn’t stop them from having the most incredible, beautiful, and emotional day full of so much love, happiness, and laughs.

From the bride… I like to think the deluge was our grandparents and great grandparents sharing in our joy, literally showering us with love and blessings. It rained on us during our very first date, on my bridal shower, and at the courthouse.

It was only appropriate that the most incredible outpouring of all be on our wedding day. The rain was not an obstacle at that moment, but a beautiful compliment to our day
