Flower lovers rejoice! This wedding is everything you’ve been dreaming of. From a spiral staircase overflowing with blooms, to a floral and pink pampas grass aisle, to not one but three floral arches at the reception Petaloso had magical moments blossoming at every turn. Pure Luxe Bride planned the pictured perfect day in Charleston filled with special touches along the way. From Pure Luxe Bride… Hannah and George got married on a beautiful fall day at Lowndes Grove in Charleston, SC. The bride and her mom loved flowers so the design was very floral focused with multiple swoon-worthy installations throughout the venue. It started with a water-facing ceremony that had a beautiful chapel arbor to imitate the inside of a church with a floral lined aisle full of textured pink pampas grass.
Guests were greeted inside of the historic home with flowers dripping from the spiral staircase which served as the backdrop for the cake. The reception tent was truly jaw-dropping where you could find lush florals everywhere you looked. Three oversized abundant floral arches were the focus of the room flanking the head table, airy greenery strung throughout the tent, a custom-colored dance floor decal, and so many more details! Guests ordered cocktails at a beautiful custom wooden bar dripping with chandeliers and abundant floral. The charger plate was the inspiration for the color palette and floral arrangements and it perfectly complemented the rest of the decor and tabletop.
From the Bride… The inspiration behind my wedding was a flower experience. Not simply beautiful flowers but a unique experience of being immersed in flowers. We chose Charleston because it is close to our hearts. We have spent many wonderful years visiting and vacationing there. Lowndes Grove captured me because it was on the water with the gorgeous black and white tiled entryway.
