You Won’t Believe How This Tennis Court Was Transformed For This 60th Birthday Party!

This “Sixty and Sensational” 60th birthday party was such a dream, it’s hard to imagine that the entire party took place on a completely transformed and unrecognizable tennis court! With cozy lounges, an intimate floral-filled dinner table, and a cake that was truly a work of art, this fête is one guests won’t soon forget!

From the planning team at A Good Affair:

“We were so excited to get to create a very special birthday for one of our legacy clients. It is always so much fun to design for someone we have worked with before as we know everything they love most. Bonnie is one special lady and for her 60th birthday her daughter, husband, and son wanted to spoil her the way she spoils everyone special in her life! Natalie knew exactly what she wanted to do with the tennis court on their private property.

She knew a bright and vibrant color palette would be perfect just like Bonnie’s personality. She created a color palette in shades of pinks to deep plum brought to life in the florals and with gorgeous ombre taper candles nestled in the floral table runner. Transforming the properties tennis court to create a magical fairytale environment with the highlight being a ceiling of thousands of twinkle lights. The summer evening was perfect in every way! Guests enjoyed cocktails and appetizers upon arrival at the top of the property where a 60 & Sensational backdrop was made with photographs from Bonnie’s life.

They then enjoyed a stroll through the trees strung with romantic twinkle lights down to the party below. It felt so magical and inspiring! Guests choose tableside entrees with a multi course gourmet meal provided by Made by Meg Catering. The fabulous musical duo, Kismet serenaded the night away and played many of Bonnie’s favorite songs. The birthday cake was thoughtfully designed to incorporate the gorgeous color palette with a chic and glam look. Grace and Honey cakes did an amazing job including hand making sugar flowers and rice paper sculptures that adorned the tiered confection. The entire evening was perfect in every way!”
