This Inspiration Shoot At A Palace In Portugal Is Picture Perfect

Once home to the Kings and Queens of Portugal, it’s elegance all the way at this editorial shot at Palácio de Queluz. Sofia Nascimento Studios planned a day worthy of a princess bride, with luxe gold details and fabulous fashion moments throughout. Utterly romantic floral arrangements in rich purple and crisp white add to the opulence. Diane Sotero Photography perfectly captured the essence of the day in her artful imagery that tells a love story that will last through the ages. From Sofia Nascimento StudiosMy main inspiration for this shooting was definitely the venue: Palácio de Queluz and its architecture, majestic corners, and richness in details. The palace embodies the evolution of the different styles of that time, having present the Baroque, Rococo, and Neoclassicism.

The words chosen to describe the whole mood of this intimate wedding inspiration and guide me through the process were: bold, majestic, feminine, and exuberant. Palácio de Queluz was home to the Portuguese Royal Family and is an exclusive European destination for the most romantic and opulent weddings.

The main salon with golden walls and distinguished chandeliers made the perfect place to host the dining experience. Surely, for such a prominent environment, we had to choose a one-of-a-kind dress to match its grandiosity. That’s why we chose unique designs from Marchesa to complete the inspiration.
