A fresh take on timeless, this styled shoot was a dream of blissful hues and citrus details. Using bright pops of color, citrus pieces, and jaw-dropping florals, The Sweet Oak Events team created their own citrus garden without ever leaving home. Breathtaking flower arrangements by Color Fields Farm in colorful hues will have you feeling bright and sunny. From Sweet Oak Events… Our inspiration bloomed from a citrus garden in Austria that boasted beautiful lemon tree orchards and curtains of florals. Since travel isn’t an option these days, we opted to bring the garden home to Hillsborough and provide a new vision for a white barn wedding.

The couple was framed by a breathtaking ground ceremony floral installation orchestrated by Color Fields Farm. Inside the venue, details of our vision, “Pink Lemonade”, were pieced together with elements of a flower curtain cascading behind the sweetheart table created by Color Fields Farm, a colorful green and pink seating chart, and a custom stationery suite designed by Art by Ashley Triggiano, and themed specialty bar cocktails featuring Pink Lemonade Sangria and Blood Orange Margaritas concocted by Brewmasters.

We hope to inspire couples after a year of doom and gloom with how to create a bright, colorful, and fun wedding that loses none of its sophistication or class. Our goal was to inspire a sophisticated appreciation for lemonade after a year of life handing us lemons… but, of course, make it pink!
