From McSween PhotographyThis beautiful editorial was born out of a desire to showcase the perfect blend of classic meets modern, the brainchild of makeup artist Antonia Scott. And what is more classic than a black-tie affair in the Lowcountry of Charleston, South Carolina at the historic William Aiken House?

Or more modern than a glamorous bride and an elegant black and white color palette. Antonia was inspired by the over the top, dazzling weddings of New York and wanting to bring that to the south with a “North Meets Charleston” twist.

The bride wore a stunning updo that complimented her gorgeous low back gown with long lace sleeves. The black and white theme carried throughout the invitation suite and reception table with flecks of gold here and there. And to top off the sweetest editorial the iconic Charleston Pink Figgy. Nothing really says classy fête like a vintage getaway car and nothing says Charleston like a Pink Figaro.
