Josh & Dana Fernandez styled and photographed an inspiration shoot, lead by the concept of couples opening their minds to the endless possibilities of personalization. Half Moon Lettering designed a European garden aesthetic pattern from scratch, and it drives the inspiration for the rest of the day. From the bridal bouquet to the cake design, it’s all about the details that Kelly Doonan Events pulled together seamlessly. Mibellarosa took the romance up a notch with greenery and lush blooms. From Josh & Dana Fernandez… The basis of this editorial design was to further explore the idea of patterns being incorporated into wedding design. With this editorial, we created a palette that is colorful, but with some earth tones and used that to create a pattern that was used creatively in different ways.
For the ceremony, the editorial team strove to incorporate the home décor feel by creating lounge seating with velvet pillows in the custom floral pattern by Half Moon Lettering and in complementary solid tones. Mibellarosa utilized the wrought iron gate overlooking the lake to create a dreamy floral installation.
The intention for the favor wall was twofold: to make it look as if you were in someone’s living or dining room, but also to provide an entertaining way to display an amazing party favor, bottles of Miraval! Mibellarosa’s team built an arch structure draped in greenery and romantic garden blooms to create an elegant setting for the long reception table dressed in a custom linen showcasing the custom pattern that Half Moon Lettering created.
