From Madeline Trent PhotographyThis summer mountain wedding at Hawksdene Estate in the picturesque Blue Ridge Mountains near Asheville, North Carolina is elegant and whimsical. After re-scheduling their original April wedding to August, Ashley and Shane were over the moon to finally tie the knot amongst their closest friends and family in a weekend celebration that was heartfelt and stylish.

Whitney Randall with Springvine Designs used florals in a soft, pastel color palette to create a garden themed ceremony and reception. The growing aisle which was lined with arrangements culminating in a stunning arbor underneath a tree-lined driveway had wedding guests feeling as if they were in a secret garden.

A sunset al fresco dinner on long farm tables covered in romantic floral installations, created an intimate and heartfelt experience. The bride made and painted her own wedding cake and the beautiful favor table- a “DIY Bath Scrub Bar” that had all the ingredients to leave guests feeling pampered long after a night of dancing and celebration.

Ashley and Shane are the sweetest couple, and I am so honored that I was able to be a part of their beautiful day.
