When this gorgeous wedding is only one of the FIVE events planned by Events by Satra held in celebration of the most beautiful couple – we can only imagine how incredible they must have been, because let us just say… this day is a total jaw-dropper. For starters, the couple and their bridal party donned traditional Hindu wedding attire that never ceases to amaze us with its sheer beauty. Not to mention the gorgeous al fresco reception on the front veranda of Villa Montalvo, a venue you’d never believe isn’t actually somewhere in Italy. The day’s festivities were made even more breathtaking by Madolin Flowers’ arrangements, captured perfectly by Michele Beckwith Photography! From Michele Beckwith Photography… Tara & Ishaan’s wedding day at Villa Montalvo was one of five extraordinary events held over a long weekend. They wanted their wedding day to be relaxed and elegant with a touch of rustic. Tara exquisitely hand made gown was in a blush pink, and her groom’s ceremony outfit was made to match.
Soft colored flowers and fruits were intricate to overall Floral design envisioned by Amanda Terpstra of Mandolin Florals. Their invitation was also hand-painted illustrating and explaining the couple’s other events over the weekend, such as the Sangeet and their Sikh ceremony the day before. The couple and their planner Satra Zarghami were inspired by the venue’s beautiful architecture, especially their ceremony location on the property, the Love Temple Garden.
Guests were treated to a traditional Hindu ceremony full of meaningful rituals, as well as traditional vows and a ring exchange. Cocktail hour was held in the courtyard where a caricature artist drew the guests and their signature cocktail had ice cubes with the couple’s monogram.
Dinner was served al fresco on the front veranda, where guests shared a gourmet meal of exotic spices and comfort food.
And for the grand finale, in lieu of cake the couple had an ice cream cart parked inside the breakfast room of the villa!
