A Green And White Winter Wedding With Timeless Charm

All white florals with lush greenery and gold accents give a classic feel to this gorgeous California wedding. With sparkling lake views and a modern romantic aesthetic (can we talk about that dreamy sweetheart table?!), this celebration is one we can’t get enough of. Sweetest Love Events designed a day equal parts elegant and inviting. Endless inspiration artfully shot by Anya Kernes Photography awaits you in the full gallery.

From the bride… We wanted something that was elegant and timeless for our SoCal winter wedding. We opted for white and gold with pops of greens for color, which played perfectly with the beauty of SeaCliff Country Club.

We were so fortunate to have friends and family who we could incorporate into our special day. Our long-time friend, Kevin, married us, our cousin, Anosh, hilariously MC’ed our wedding, and our long-time friend and Anish’s fraternity brother, Connor, DJ’ed our wedding! My piece of advice that I could give to brides-to-be would be to enjoy your special day! Take a pause during your wedding and look around and take it all in because the day just goes by so fast.

From Summer Blooms & Details… In Cat’s bouquet there were garden roses, peonies, ranunculus, anemones, lisianthus, different types of eucalyptus, and bleached/dried italian ruscus. We wanted to keep it classic and romantic, but added the bleached italian ruscus to add a little winter-y element into her bouquet since her wedding was in December. And dried, bleached flowers have been a pretty popular floral trend this year.

For their centerpieces and arch, Cat really was super easy going, and just gave me the colors she wanted to incorporate into the wedding. We tried to incorporate as much greenery into the centerpieces because linen was classic and ivory, which worked out well because the room was draped in white as well. As for the arch, we used a lot of smilax to create the airy-romantic feel. Even though their wedding was in the middle of winter, it made it feel like a warm summer day.
