So much of a wedding day depends on the couple’s history with the location. You take two wild mountain hearted people who crave only their closest friends surrounded by only the biggest mountains and you have the perfect intimate celebration.

With the gorgeous neutrals and colors of the earth, this wedding focused on elegant and timeless romance–long cathedral veil, white and earthy florals, the perfect sweeping updo, and classic touches of emerald and rust to echo the mountain colors.

With a Scottish groom it was important to have the sounds of bagpipes echoing in the hills and the ranch is known for its cranes, horses, and a set of local Utah sheep made the space feel even more like the highlands.

From the paper details and vow books down to the cocktails and champagne fountain, we wanted every detail to be reflective of Scottish heritage and stunning landscape. The photographer ended the shoot by recreating an epic dinner scene inspired by Leonardo Da Vinci’s The Last Supper.

Art meets Romance meets the Mountains.
