From RSVP EventsFor this editorial, we wanted to bring together western ranch style and fine art design for the bride who loves all things timelessly beautiful and in love with the west.

The C Lazy U Ranch in Granby, Colorado sets the scene for a romantic wedding surrounded by the wildlife of the west. For a unique color palette rooted in the landscape of Colorado, we began with a Charles Marion Russell painting, A Mix Up. Hues of lilac, dusty blue, buttery yellow, wheat, and walnut are softened by hues of cream and bone. The painting lines the invitation envelope, with torn edges, walnut calligraphy, and aged paper creating the suite.

The bride’s first gown is an Alon Livne gown with a prairie lace bolero and windswept cascading tulle, inspired by the romance of the west. Her second gown by Alessandra Rinaudo is a billowy gown with large floral statement lace. Her turquoise and diamonds ring is classically west, and her booties are embroidered in blue.

Clematis, cosmos, yarrow, sage brush, smokebush, rudbekia, delphinium, and roses in toffee, honey dijon, and koko loko come together to create a floral story rich in color and true to the west.

The ceremony takes place at Woodsie Overlook, overlooking the Willow Creek Reservoir. The floral arbor is lush and romantic with a backdrop of the Rockies. At the reception, lush florals spill from patinaed silver vessels, and candles dot the table. The table is set with wood chargers reminiscent of saddles, antique silver goblets and flatware, and aged paper menus. The bartender serves the Boujuee Bootlegger: four year bourbon, Carpano Antica Sweet Vermouth, Angostura bitters, and orange peel, served with homemade whiskey cherry, stamped ice, and gold flakes. At the end of the day when the jingle sounds, the horses are run to pasture for free grazing. Dust rises as two hundred horses run to pasture as the perfect end to this romantic, wild west adventure.
