Gray & Ivory Wedding at Vista Valley Country Club

I spent far more time than I’d like to admit crushing over this wedding—particularly this stunning Bride & Groom. Aren’t they lovely? Their day was woven with meaningful moments (like the Bride’s dress, which was made with lace from her mother’s dress) and layers of neutral beauty, thanks to Vanessa Michelle Co.. There are over 300 images from Sposto Photography sitting right here in the gallery and every single one is worth a peek, I promise.

From Vanessa Michelle Co.Kiersten and Elijah embody the love and commitment that marriage represents in one of the most meaningful and detailed weddings we’ve ever seen. Kiersten used pieces of lace from her own mother’s wedding dress and secretly incorporated them into her own, all leading up to one big reveal that neither of them will soon forget. Kiersten had a special first look with her mom and held a photo of her mother’s dress to share this wonderful surprise with her and soon, both of these lovely ladies were crying the happiest of tears.

As guests arrived at the stunning Vista Valley Country Club, they were met with a towering escort wall complete with individual, personalized notes to each guest from the couple. Included in each envelope were blank cards for guests to share any well wishes or advice for the couple to read following the event! Yet another meaningful detail from this beautiful day was the inclusion of chess pieces throughout the venue. Chess plays an important role in the couple’s family traditions and also serves as one of their most significant shared activities together. To exemplify this, we used chess pieces on each table as table numbers and had full gorgeous chess sets in the groomsmen suite for them to play while the ladies finished getting ready.

This day happened to be in the middle of one heck of a heat wave with our highest temperature reaching 117 degrees, but our Kiersten still looked breathtaking throughout – you would never know from the photos! Thanks to our outstanding vendors (Oak & Owl, Ashley Fierro, captured by Sposto Photography) the results of this day were truly astonishing.
