Modern Twist on a Classic Wedding at Kestrel Park in Santa Ynez

There are too many adorable and meaningful details of this day to count… but the one that truly shines is described best by the planner, Intertwined Events“Each night before bed, Karlie + Adam tell each other 3 reasons why they appreciate one another. It only seemed right to include this personalized element into the day. Each escort card was a card to that person on why they were appreciated by the couple, along with their table assignment!” And friends, there are SO many more moments like that woven into this celebration, that I believe will inspire you to craft a day that is uniquely you. From Intertwined EventsThis wedding had one of the funniest, most personalized ceremonies we’ve witnessed, the longest dining table we’ve ever seen and a crowd of people dying to get their selfie (more on that later), making this wedding one for the books!

Karlie, a life and career coach, and Adam, a comedy talent agent, first met at a party. At the end of the night, she gave him her number, but he never called. Fast forward five months later, they matched on a dating app. The first thing she said? “You never called.” And the rest was history. Karlie and Adam are a match made in goofball heaven. These Los Angeles natives made it official by tying the knot on September 1st at Kestrel Park in Santa Ynez, California.

For their wedding day, Karlie and Adam wanted something romantic, but true to their laidback style. All of the greenery at Kestrel Park carried throughout the day organically. What really makes these two stand out are their personalities! Both Karlie and Adam are outgoing, bubbly and absolutely hilarious… you can’t help but smile when you are around them! As many intimate and stunning, romantics photos there are of these two, there’s just as many of Adam in his true funny guy form!

Guests arrived at Kestrel Park on a party school bus that featured the couple’s wedding hashtag #ThePrincessAndTheG on the side of it! Upon arrival they were greeted with beverages and gorgeous views of the Kestrel Park property. The ceremony was full of fun and laughter. Karlie’s nephew took his job as ring ‘bear’er very seriously – he was literally dressed as a bear! Adam’s friend and client, comedian Orny Adams, officiated the wedding. There were plenty of laughs and jabs at the two throughout the ceremony, but Adam’s reaction when he saw his future wife walk down the aisle was simply priceless. When the groom sheds a tear when he first sees his bride, we have to shed one too! Orny officiated the ceremony perfectly, with moments of laughter, but also moments of pure joy as he interviewed all the bridal party and family in advance on what made Karlie and Adam perfect for one another; it was one of the most intimate and personalized ceremonies we’ve witnessed.

Cocktail hour took place in the garden. Guests were treated to his and her cocktails – blackberry mint mojitos and spicy cucumber margaritas.

Each night before bed, Karlie + Adam tell each other 3 reasons why they appreciate one another. It only seemed right to include this personalized element into the day. Each escort card was a card to that person on why they were appreciated by the couple, along with their table assignment!

At the reception, guests dined at a 168ft long table. That’s right! 168ft LONG! This table went on for what seemed like days. Though it was long, the family style table evoked the feeling of being at an intimate dinner party. Karlie and Adam were sat at a sweetheart table in the middle, where they could see all of their family and friends.

On Instagram, Adam is infamously known for photobombing people kissing and taking a selfie – what he calls #Ginivisigram- so you know there were plenty of selfies of these two kissing throughout the night! Photographer, Adrian Jon, even got in on the action! Debois Entertainment rocked the night away! Guests were on the dance floor all night long and if they weren’t, they were enjoying the late-night grilled cheese bar.

Adam’s career revolves around comedy while Karlie’s career is about empowering women and supporting them to their dream life. Let’s just say it was a dream to work with this powerhouse and we can’t wait to see what the future holds for them!
