From the Bride… Alykhan and I have a modern love story – we met online! He, being my first (and only) online date, and I, being what he says he was convinced was an “online bot”, were both (needless to say) pleasantly surprised after our first date. We instantly hit it off and fell into a whirlwind romance.
For our wedding, we envisioned a chic, metropolitan vibe surrounded by all of our closest friends and family. We wanted something that was classic and timeless, with a clean color palette of white, nude, and touches of gold. We kept the overall style minimal yet beautiful. With the venue’s floor to ceiling windows showcasing the city skyline, we wanted to be sure not to take away from the gorgeous sweeping views – which were a major highlight during the sun-soaked ceremony, throughout the pink sunset skies during cocktail hour, and as we celebrated into the night.
We couldn’t have made any of it possible without our incredible wedding planner, Katie Lee from Bella Destinee Weddings & Events. After meeting multiple wedding planners, we knew the moment we spoke to her that she was the perfect person to help us achieve our vision. She completely understood what we wanted, and has the most impeccable taste and style. She was so organized and communicative throughout the whole process, and truly made us feel at ease. Seeing all the months of hard work and decisions come together on our wedding day was something we will never forget. She absolutely brought our vision to life. We are still receiving compliments about what an amazing wedding it was. It was the most gorgeous setting, with our favorite people, fantastic music, food, drinks – and so much love. It was the most magical day of our lives and we wouldn’t trade it for the world.
