Undeniable fact: this alfresco wedding captured by Lisa Zeising for Abby Jiu Photography is gorgeous. Every last floral-filled inch will make your heart skip a beat. But when you really start to peel back the layers, you'll find the cutest personalized details tucked inside. Things like a paper floral seating card wall, a liquid courage cart to get guests on the dance floor and mini tacos + margaritas for nibbling all planned by Roberts and Co Events + florals by J Morris Flowers. Katie and Ari envisioned a breezy summer day filled with friends, and amazing food, and a great party to wrap their year long engagement. The stars aligned and not only were they given the perfect sunny June day, but their friends and family were treated to a day full of personal and fun treats to celebrate their wedding day.
Katie fell in love with the gardens at Oatlands, and with their vendor team created a garden oasis complete with floral wall seating chart, and open air tent to enjoy that glorious summer day. Guests noshed on passed pairings such as tacos and mini margaritas, and sipped summer cucumber gimlets during cocktail hour.
After cocktail hour, guests joined the couple under their open air tent for a three course dinner followed by a liquid courage cart to promote dancing and fun all night long. Glow sticks, after dinner cordials, and comfortable flip flops broke the ice and helped out their crowd to dance all night long!
