As I sit here on this chilly (make that freezing) New England day with my cup of tea in hand, I am wishing I was a guest at this sun-soaked Santa Barbara soiree, with a glass of bubbly in hand instead. What was your most memorable experience from the wedding day?

Bride: Being able to experience the most important day of our lives with the most special people in our lives. I loved having our wedding a destination wedding because it really allowed people to bond and enjoy the weekend.

Groom: We were able to get away from the stress of our daily lives and appreciate what matters most in life – love and happiness! (Cheesy I know but its true!) All the emotions building up while you were walking down the isle.

Would you do it all over again the same way or change anything?

Bride: I want to relive that day the exact same way over and over again. The only thing I regret is not extending the reception an extra hour!

Groom: I would not get a straight razor shave the morning of our wedding from someone that clearly doesn’t know what he’s doing.

What advice do you have for future couples planning their wedding?

Every bride will tell you the same thing. Try not to stress about the small stuff, most our your guests will never know the difference. Also, the day goes by in the blink of an eye!! Brian and I would squeeze each others hand throughout the night to remind each other to breathe and absorb our surroundings. This was once in a life time and it took teamwork to remember that!
