As I’m sure you lovelies know, Pantone’s 2017 color of the year was “greenery” – and they absolutely nailed our current favorite wedding trend. This gorgeous greenery inspired wedding captured by Anouschka Rokebrand took place in the Netherlands and showcases the absolute best of the refreshing hue, from the stand out florals by Bloom Your Life to the beautiful natural surroundings at Orangerie Elswout.
From Anouschka Rokebrand… They had been friends for a while before sparks started to fly between them at a party. Stefan proposed to Juliette in Italy during a skiing trip. He had planned everything! He rented a snow scooter and arranged for a little cabin with champagne and a woodfire burning. Stefan was so nervous with the ring in his pocket as they were riding the snow scooter. When they arrived at the cabin, Stefan popped the question, and Juliette finally understood why he had been so nervous all day. Needless to say, she answered with a very big, “YES!”
June 17th, their day finally arrived. They had dreamed about an outdoor ceremony, and with Dutch weather, you just never know what you will get on your wedding day. They got a gorgeous summer day – what a treat! The day started with bridal and groom prep, followed by a beautiful first look before we headed to Orangerie Elswout where the entire wedding would take place. We took some photos on the gorgeous estate, and this was followed by a wonderful and very personal ceremony. Drinks and dinner were next, with tables styled stunningly by Best Day Ever Events. The ceremony set up in the garden of the orangerie was gorgeous. It included a stunning backdrop made of fresh flowers as well as flowers adoring the chairs, too. The same style florals were used for the dining tables. Sage green, champagne, and gold were their colors, and the green popped up everywhere, from the invitations to the flowers to the stationery.
Stefan and the boys opted for a very classic look. Juliette wore a beautiful Pronovias gown with sparkly Jimmy Choos. Her Bridesmaids wore stunning, green colored skirts with white tops. Such a gorgeous combination!
