From Nuage Designs… The following images, shot on film by Lance Nicoll, are inspired by Lord Bryon’s famous words “she walks in beauty like the night, of cloudless climes and starry skies.” In a place where dark and light come together, a place that time forgot – but, where memories hold fast. Abandoned ruins of a plantation that burned long ago provide the backdrop for this dramatic, ethereal, & deeply romantic inspiration.

Lush and grand florals by Kim Starr Wise adorn a dramatic tablescape with gilded details in a palette of soft grays, blush, magenta, & lilac with pops of teal and black. Our two brides are dramatic yet modern, soft yet vivid in their Kelly Faetanini and Berta Gowns. Two wildly lush bouquets are just the beginning of the floral touches. A floral sash is the perfect new accent for the modern yet classic bride; while an imposing floral headpiece is an ideal statement piece. The teal and black cake by Melissa’s Fine Pastries is perfectly set against a gently blowing blush damask linen by Nuage Designs. The lounge area again has dramatic florals cascading down a vintage settee with pops of teal and blush – a perfectly wild palette against a backdrop of lush overgrown foliage and pale gray columns. Walk amongst the ruins…to another time, another place. The ruins still stand, the memories remain, the romance continues.
