Can You Name These 10 Popular Wedding Flowers?
August 31, 2017
As a wedding blogger, I've come to know and love many blooms by their name. If you had asked me five years ago what Scabiosa was or how to describe a Cafe au Lait Dahlia, I would have had nothing for you. So, I'm here to give you a little lesson today on some of the beauties we love around here most. When it's time to meet with your floral designer, you might just surprise them when you request Juliet Garden Roses!

Anemone

These fluttery petals with black centers are show-stopping and super lovely for modern affairs.

Coral Charm Peony

This vibrant bloom is a showstopper, perfect for a pop of pink pretty in your Big Day.

Cafe au Lait (Dinnerplate) Dahlia

They sure do look pretty enough to eat, but save these beauties for your bouquet.

Juliet Garden Rose

Turn up the romance with these peachy layers of petals.

Bougainvillea

The pronunciation is a bit intimidating on this one, but they sure do make a statement and are rather sweet for tropical fetes.

Ranunculus

These delicate darlings have a mind of their own, gracing bouquets with their wildly turning stems. They also make for lovely boutonnieres!

Lisianthus

These dainty petals make for a beautiful alternative to the all white rose bouquet.

Scabiosa

These burgundy beauties may be small, but they are mighty. Add them to bouquets for gorgeous layer, or make them into handsome bouts.

Protea

This spiky stunner is perfect for tropical fetes!

Poppy

These pretties come in a variety of colors and have a delicate nature but they sure do pack a punch.
