From the Photographer… Jackie + Jimmy’s wedding day was one for the books! After a late start to their day due to a timeline miscommunication, we were still able to capture every detail of their amazing day with time to spare! That is the beauty of always creating a wedding day photo timeline with plenty of cushion… no stress!! Jackie + Jimmy shared a sweet First Look in historic downtown Charleston before meeting up with their bridal party for photos in the historic district. It was a really hot spring day, but everyone looked FABULOUS and maintained a good attitude about taking photos despite the heat. Elaine of Frampton’s Flowers surprised bride Jackie with a GINORMOUS bouquet of the fluffiest peonies I’ve ever seen in my life. Her flowers were so insanely gorgeous. Fun note – Jimmy sent Jackie her very first bouquet of flowers through Elaine back in college and they’ve been friends ever since. So it was a real full-circle moment for Jackie, Jimmy + their friend/guest/florist Elaine! Before we knew it, we were headed to the Rice Mill where Jackie + Jimmy said “I do” in a beautiful ceremony on the water. Guests were treated to a selection of traditional Lowcountry fare and the dance floor was PACKED all night, thanks to The Company Band. Lucky for us, there was a beautiful sunset over the water at the marina – so we took advantage of it with some additional portraits and they are some of my all-time favorites!! At the end of the night, Jackie + Jimmy exited through a tunnel of sparklers… the perfect ending to an amazing day.
