The Swarovski Heiress Got Married and You Won’t Believe Her Wedding

When an heiress gets married, expect a lavish, over-the-top wedding. But when the 23-year-old Swarovski Crystal heiress gets married, expect that and so, so much more! Like a million-dollar wedding dress complete with more than 500,000 crystals. That’s precisely what Victoria Swarovski wore when she said “I do,” to Werner Mürz, a Munich-based entrepreneur, in Trieste, Italy.

With the help of A-list designer, Michael Cinco (who’s worked with stars like Beyoncé, Jennifer Lopez, Lady Gaga and Rihanna), Swarovski custom-designed her extravagant ballgown. With more than 500,000 crystals, laser-cut flowers and pailettes, the long-sleeve sheer bodiced gown weighed an estimated 100 lbs. She completed the look with a pair of Jimmy Choo stilettos, and a 26-foot lace-lined veil just like the princess she is.

Following the ceremony at Cathedral of San Giusto, the 250 guests headed to Maxi’s Restaurant Portopiccolo for dinner and dancing by the sea. From the cake to the centerpieces to the flower girls’ crowns, baby’s breath created heavenly arrangements throughout.

And that was just the wedding! Celebrations kicked off Thursday night with a red-hot welcome party at Falisia Resort & Spa. With a dress code of women in red and men in white, the night was destined for romance!
