Moody Wedding Inspiration for the “Cool Girl” Bride

Fall may feel like ages away this time of year, but as any busy bride knows, it’s just the blink of an eye in wedding planning time. *Cue* this inspiration shoot designed in the hands of The White Book Wedding Co. Striking just the right balance of edgy yet feminine, the images by Corina V. Photography are just the moody inspiration pieces every autumn bride needs to see.

Love Her But Leave Her Wild

For the girl who is easy to love but hard to tame, this styled wedding perfectly captures the elegance and couture air of french gardens and estates with the ever-so-cool french girl vibe. Shot on location in the Orchard room of Langdon Hall Country House and featuring the stunning Jocelyn from Elmer Olsen Models, our chic bride wears two looks on her wedding day to emulate her many sides.

Soft and demure white cap sleeve lace and, sexy and fierce in a two piece lingerie and Dupioni silk ballgown skirt, both custom designed by Valencienne Bridal Design. Dreamy fall air, gorgeous gardens and the classic french doors made the perfect space for Corina V Photography to capture the beauty and wilderness of Jocelyn and the stunning hair and makeup done by Ladylyn Gool and Dawna Boot Makeup.

Matching the light but dark side vibe of our bride, inspiration was pulled from Ellie Cashman’s collection of Dark Floral Wallpaper, making it the focal point backdrop of the tablescape. Planned and designed by The White Book, soft blushes, blacks, and golds were pulled throughout the theme with touches in the Ted Baker show lining and in the gorgeous invitation suite by Andrea Crofts Studios.

French embossed gray plates, black chiffon napkins, layered taupe chiffon runner and brass candlesticks perfectly pulled the palette together on a gorgeous wood harvest table from Warehouse 84. Custom menus and favor tags reading “love her wild” inspired by the Atticus quote were wrapped around perfect little black and gold boxes Instead of a cake with flowers, each guest receives a pretty little box of sweet flowers by Crumb and Berry.

Making the statement of the table, the bridal look and the ceremony were the stunning wild and almost painting like florals of Tellie Hunt of Hunt and Gather Floral. Lush green cut right off the property mixed with fall colored roses and intricate blooms create the oversized totally elegant bouquet, table arrangement, and luscious ceremony urns. To top of the shoot, Crumb and Berry and Hunt and Gather created a sugar flower bouquet instead of a traditional cake. How fun to pick a flower that you can eat!
