Leading up to their big day, Claire and Chris knew they wanted images that captured their love to the fullest. They chose California, where Chris proposed and brought on an entire team including Jen Huang to make their dream portraits happen. One part romantic and one part playful, it’s a session that captures their relationship to a T.

From Jen Huang… As a photographer, I always look for different ways to tell a couple’s story, and this session was the perfect opportunity as Claire and Chris wanted to create a unique and beautiful set of images to celebrate their union. Claire and Chris are getting married in Hong Kong, but wanted to incorporate the place that Chris proposed – California.
They also wanted to have portraits that not only showcased the fun and playful engagement side, but also the deeply romantic bridal side. We shot in a deeply wooded oak grove and along high mountain cliffs. Claire also brought on a team of magnificent artists for her shoot – including Davia Lee Events, Chiali Meng Artistry and Camellia Floral Design.
Although she kept the same hair and makeup and bouquet, her attire and location changes in the shoot were able to highlight the two distinct styles that we were aiming for. It takes an amazing team to produce something like this, and I’m so thankful for having a wonderful bride with a beautiful vision, and the talented friends who were able to put it all together.
