In all honesty, if you asked me to list some of my favorite venues to say "I do", an airport hangar wouldn't be first on my list. However, I've quickly changed my tune after seeing this wedding by Blue Rose Photography. Full of light and bright blue skies, a blank slate was transformed - via Carina Van Son - into this romantic, love-filled scene. And don't miss the film by First and Foremost Productions - an airplane getaway? Yeah, this is good. See it all right this way!

From the Bride... While planning our wedding we wanted to keep things that mattered most in the forefront: our family, our friends and our love.

We incorporated small details that made the day extra special; a rosary from each grandmother around the bridal bouquet, hand written notes to our parents and vendors, and a surprise plane ride as our getaway, to name a few.

We smiled so much our faces hurt, and at the end of that one incredible day - we were married!

From Carina Van Son... The hangar was almost completely white. It provided a blank slate to let our imagination run wild. We wanted to preserve the light and airy feel while also making the room feel more intimate and warm. We did this by hanging bistro lights throughout, alternating low blooming arrangements with tall branches, and adding an area of soft seating for Korryn and Kyle to sit during the toasts. Our floral focus was a lot of lush, loose greens and blooms to make the florals look natural and soft.
