Wedding Trends We Love: Circular Ceremony Seating

When A Day Like No Other is planning your wedding, you better believe there will be some special touches. One of our favorites? The circular ceremony seating that set the tone for an intimate, completely personal celebration. Gary Sexton photographed every moment waiting in The Vault.

From A Day Like No OtherThe couple Haneen and Anthony met during their Junior year at UC Davis (2008/2009). They both had transferred to the school that year. The bride’s roommate introduced the two; she had attended a Greek camp with the groom (who is of Greek heritage) when they were 10 or 12 yrs old. She ended up inviting him to the bride’s birthday celebration. A good half year after that first encounter, the two began dating.

They got engaged in December of 2014 and, after an 18-month courtship, got married in May 2016. A few things they absolutely wanted for their wedding: lots of good music, all of their friends, and LOTS AND LOTS of dancing!

The theme was “1920s light:” a mixture of the bride’s and the groom’s ideas. They were looking to mix it up in a world filled with mason jar weddings. So they decided to take a “light approach to Great Gatsby”. And the beautiful antique race car – actually, a treasured family heirloom – did come in handy to set the tone for this elegant celebration right at the venue entrance.
