Pops of Color Took a Classic Wedding to the Next Level

I love a classic wedding that doesn’t take itself too seriously, and David and Melissa’s Houston affair is the perfect example. A traditional church ceremony followed by an elegant yet entirely fun reception complete with a live Latin band, this celebration was dream for Dana Fernandez to photograph and Monroe Wedding Videography to film. Scroll on for all the above plus so much more.

Upon meeting David and Melissa, we knew that they would be amazing to work with. They had some of the best chemistry to the point, where barely had to direct them during their engagements and wedding day because the love they shared was electric.

In addition to their amazing connection, their wedding day did not disappoint. From the designs put together by Danyett from Two Be Wed to their personal florals from Blush and Vine, everything was absolutely beautiful to photograph. The couple had their reception at one of our favorite venues, The Bell Tower on 34th, which is pretty much a photographer’s dream to be able to photograph. The entire floor was covered in lush greenery as well as neutral florals with pops of color everywhere.

They had an amazing reception filled with fun music from their band, Yelba’s Latin Fire, where the guests danced the night away. Their wedding was definitely one of our favorites and everything was absolutely amazing to be a part of and especially to be able to capture!
