From Ivory + Bliss… Romance. What is romance? Is it the act of sending a love letter, flowers on the table when we get home, or is it a feeling? Is it something you can’t see or touch, but something that you feel in the depth of your heart, in your whole body… Is it like the wind? These brief moments where our heart is full of love… it comes and goes, for if it was always there, it wouldn’t be so special when we feel it.
This shoot was dreamt up on a day where I was shooting a session on a windy beach back home. Her dress was flowing, the wind was in her hair, and I was waiting on all of these beautiful moments that I had no control over. I wanted to style a shoot to inspired by this anticipation. These beautiful moments we can’t plan, we don’t foresee, we just feel.
