From the Bride… Our relationship started with us being in different places in our lives. It was a test of genuine love, patience and determination that lead us to our fairytale. We had two very special guests at our wedding, our sons, and we were thrilled they were there to witness our vows. When we decided to get married, a destination wedding was a must for us but we weren’t quite sure of the destination itself. We wanted a location that was convenient for our Canadian guests to travel to but also offered a unique experience for them. Costa Rica was the perfect choice with its stunning landscapes and wide scope of adventurous activities offered. The beautiful scenery and sounds of the ocean along with the presence of 61 of our closest family and friends made it the wedding of our dreams and none of it would have been possible without The Eventeur’s help, vision and guidance.
The two elements I knew I wanted as soon as we started planning was the donuts and ghost chairs. Beyond that, I wanted the reception to feel fancy but not stuffy and still stay true to its surroundings. For Srdan, musts were good food and good music. Local Costa Rican fare, served family style were a huge hit and a conversation starter for our guests. Our family and friends had the time of their life and we were glad we asked them to take on this adventure with us.
