When you propose at the foot of Manawaiopuna Falls (aka the Jurassic Park waterfalls) you set the stage for one epic adventure - and that's exactly what these two began, when they first met at a friend's wedding and then a little later, when she proclaimed YES at those falls. Angela Newton Roy captured their "I do's" and the results? Picture perfect. See them all in our Vault and get ready to start pinning some of the best bridesmaids' dresses I've seen in awhile!

From Bride... Ryan, a former FDNY firefighter and current Clarkstown police officer and I, a financial software account manager at Bloomberg, met in September 2012 at a mutual friend's wedding. From the moment we met, we were inseparable. Sharing a love of music, Crossfit and travel, we spent the next year going to concerts, working out and exploring new places. In December 2013, Ryan proposed to me at the foot of the Manawaiopuna Falls (aka the Jurassic Park waterfall) in Kauai. We spent the next year and a half planning our dream wedding.

Finding a venue to accommodate the 325 guests was a task in itself. However, once we laid our eyes on the tented ballroom at West Hills Country Club in Middletown, NY, we knew this was the perfect venue for us. We wanted the wedding to embody fun elegance and that was exactly what we achieved.

The theme of fun elegance played out in my beaded lace dress, Ryan's custom midnight blue tux (with mustache lining, of course), the blush tones of the garden roses, dahlias, succulents and scabiosa pods, combined with gold accents throughout and music from the one of a kind Nerds, the day was everything we dreamed of and more. Followed by a spectacular honeymoon to Australia, New Zealand and Bora Bora, we were ready to begin our new life together and look forward to what the future has to offer!
