From the Bride… When we started planning our wedding, we knew we wanted a venue that was equally edgy and cozy. We loved the aesthetic and simplicity of high ceilings and exposed brick, paired with greenery and neutral flowers. We immediately fell in love with Ravenswood Event Center, it had the perfect look & feel.
It was very important that the wedding felt distinctly “us,” and this really came through in the details. We brought in Andrew’s love of music, our appreciation for fantastic food, and a warm inviting environment. We also got creative in capturing the little moments by setting up a couple vintage Polaroid cameras. Guests took pictures of themselves and each other, and signed the film. These pictures are some of our most special memories from the wedding.
We kept the color palette neutral and romantic with cream linens, off-white + blush flowers, mercury glass, and lots of votives to bring in warm natural light. Andrew’s groomsmen wore classic tuxedos, and the bridesmaids wore an eclectic mix of neutral dresses.
We were so happy with the end result! The wedding truly felt like the best expression of our relationship.
