From White Ribbon Boutique Events Coordination…The destination wedding of Sasha and Nicholas took place in the Cycladic Island of Santorini, Greece. The beautiful bride is Australian, the groom has origins from Greece. Therefore this wedding was a greater celebration of homecoming with family and friends uniting from two far away corners of the world to join the couple’s union.
The ceremony was held in the main square of Oia during sunset, where the bride arrived with her family and close friends in a procession on foot accompanied by local musicians performing traditional wedding songs.
The couple opted for a romantic decor but at the same time they wanted to incorporate the colors and natural elements found on the Cycladic island of Santorini. Their stationery was the color of the blue domed chapels and local houses while for their flowers they mixed pastel pink garden roses with vibrant fuchsia bougainvillea. The lovely bridesmaids wore blush dresses while the bride looked stunning in a lace Pallas Couture gown.
This beautiful day would not have been possible without the excitement, warmth and love of the couple’s friends and family who made the whole day the most memorable for the lovely couple.
