From Merari Photography… Just like a real-life romantic comedy, Danny and Jen met at the LAX baggage claim. They immediately hit it off and bonded over being school teachers and their mutual love of travel. After a whirlwind romance Danny proposed to Jen and they jumped in to wedding planning.

They decided to have an intimate Thursday wedding with only their nearest and dearest. Danny opted for a blue suit instead of a traditional tux and Jen wore a gorgeous Cotin Sposa gown and veil. Danny also helped design the bolero Jen wore for their ceremony!

They exchanged vows under a lush Chuppah decorated with hints of dark blue, deep purple and cream flowers. It was a lovely ceremony that celebrated not just their love, but honored their families as well, particularly Jen’s grandparents who were Holocaust survivors.

After the ceremony guests were lead under a chandelier-lit tent for dinner. Each table had individually curated centerpieces with a variety of vases and blooms. For dessert, everyone was treated to a Humboldtfog cheese-inspired cake. Danny and Jen spent the rest of the night dancing under the start with their loved ones.
