Classic Blush + Gold Wedding at The Hempstead House

Technically speaking, photography is all about capturing light and CLY By Chung captured the light (and moments!) of this Connecticut wedding beautifully. The photos of this gorgeous Bride and her handsome Groom in the picturesque gardens are completely stunning just like the rest of this traditional wedding—especially the flowers by Design By Ahn. See all the pretty for yourself in THE VAULT!

From The Bride…David and I met in the summer of 2013 in Manhattan at his best friend’s birthday BBQ. We started dating several months later, and on July 25, 2014 David popped the question! We celebrated our engagement over a weekend with friends and family in the Hamptons and the whirlwind of wedding planning pretty much started soon after!

We had a Christian ceremony at The Hempstead House in Sands Point, NY on May 30, 2015, a beautiful mansion built in early 1900s. My vision for the wedding was ethereal and romantic, with a creamy color palette of ivory, light blush pinks and peaches. We wanted to highlight the venue’s beautiful architecture, so our main decor was focused around my favorite spring flowers, peonies and garden roses, and plenty of candles lit throughout the venue!

The day was perfect and exactly as we’d envisioned and planned. We were so blessed to celebrate with 150 of our closest friends and family and will remember the day forever!
